Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a brand new company in the field of theatre. From 2014 through her appointment in 2019, she was artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company. As SSC's Artistic Directors, Ash-Morgan also held the positions of costume/set designer, producer, composer/music directors and text coach. The last year of her tenure she served as director and lighting designer in SSC's production of King Lear. She had been directing from the group, but the year that she made her directorial debut.
